Even In the Dry Season

In my last blog post, I talked about God building a foundation in your life with longevity in mind during the so called dry season in your life. Mediating on this more and more, I begin to do research on dry seasons. I came across a study on the difference between a rainy season and a dry season in a rain forest. Surprisedly, this study showed that trees in the rain forest were worse off in the rainy season. In the rainy season is when many leaves die, but relatively few new ones are produced. Clearing the land included cutting down trees, not only on the building site, but also removing any unhealthy or dead trees that were close enough to the house to do damage if they fell. Tree stumps and large rocks were also removed for the ground to be properly leveled. Once the land ...
