Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Mark 4:40 I felt God ask me this very question as I read the story of Jesus and his disciples during the storm. In Mark 4:35 Jesus and His disciples started out in a boat to cross the other side of the lake. While crossing the lake a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat and it began to fill with water. While all of this was going on Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat. The disciples woke Jesus up shouting, "Teacher don't you care that we're going to drown." Mark 4:39 says, "When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm." Now I've heard and read this story multiple times, but it was only now that I could feel God asking me those very words.
