The Plug

Then he asked them,  “Why are you afraid?  Do you still have no faith?” Mark 4:40 I felt God ask me this very question as I read the story of Jesus and his disciples during the storm. In Mark 4:35 Jesus and His disciples started out in a boat to cross the other side of the lake. While crossing the lake a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat and it began to fill with water. While all of this was going on Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat. The disciples woke Jesus up shouting, "Teacher don't you care that we're going to drown." Mark 4:39 says, "When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm." Now I've heard and read this story multiple times, but it was only now that I  could feel God asking me those very words. On the Other Side

To all who mourn in Israel,  he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,  a joyous blessing instead of mourning,  festive praise instead of despair.  I n their righteousness,  they will be like great oaks that the lord  has planted for his own glory.  Isaiah 61:3 Going through hardships and trials are never easy. It’s never easy to lose someone whether in a friendship or relationship. Recently, I went through my own break-up. Talk about a time of feeling vulnerable, sad, and disappointed. I think when women go through these times, it's a fear that plunges in their heart that fears the idea of "starting over". You know its some things that are "deal breakers" for you or some things in a relationship that don't necessarily sit well with you, but instead of listening to the Holy Spirit tell you these things you try to compromise.
