And we know that God causes everything
to work together
for the good of those who love God
and are called according to his purpose for them.
Romans 8:28
I believe that these last four months in my life have really
been a testing of my faith. Puzzling over the different situations in my life I
felt God begin to tell me, “It's all working for your good (Romans 8:28).” See
Satan's job is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The Bible says,
"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around
like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8)." See I
don't believe Satan is prowling around looking just for any old body. Like a
predator, Satan is prowling around looking for the best. I believe Satan can
literally see your angels working on your behalf. I will even
go as far as saying; Satan sees that God is preparing big blessings for you.
That's exactly why Satan goes out of his way to bring about distractions,
disappointments and more into your life.
True story! At one point my granny's home would always get
broken into. Every time she would purchased a new television or computer and
have it moved into her home literally the next day it would be stolen. See a
thief wouldn't waste his or her time breaking into a house that didn't have anything worth stealing. No, they're going to strategically select the
home they believe has some pretty valuable items. If Satan didn't know that God
had an amazing future for you he wouldn't even waste his time on you.
I declared months ago that the remaining days of 2016 and going
into 2017 would be full of nothing but big blessings for me. Even through the
disappointments and distractions I choose to still keep my eyes on Jesus. I’m
actually kind of flattered that Satan continues to try to distract me. It lets
me know that he sees God working on my behalf and gets me even more excited about the good plans God has in store for me. The Bible says, "Stand firm against him (Satan), and be strong in your faith.
Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going
through the same kind of suffering you are (I Peter 5:8). During these times we
have to keep our eyes on Jesus! Let your faith be elevated. God wants to use
you even in the midst of the storm. He wants you to trust Him even when you
don't see the good out of it. I choose to rejoice even in the midst of turmoil
because I know that even though Satan comes to steal kill, and destroy, Christ
has come that I may have life more abundantly (John 10:10). He has come so that
you can have a life of overflow. Keep pushing! Keep believing! Keep praying! I
want you to know that what God has for you is for you! Keep speaking against
the attacks of Satan. Even he can't stop God from propelling you to your
destiny.
